jimi hendrix- have you ever been (to electric ladyland)
*i love this song because it's that soulful melodic rock when he really breaks it down on the guitar. jimi had a pretty good voice too. it's short and sweet, and it's a classic.
busta rhymes- take it off
*now i haven't heard this in years (literally), and it's off ELE, and as soon as i heard it my hiney was shakin. at the next busta concert i go to, i wanna hear this. a groovy island....groove.
the lettermen- hurt so bad
*three chipper looking dudes on capitol records i believe. this song is pretty short too, but the harmony is infectious. you can't help but sing along, even if it doesn't hurt so bad. they did a lot of covers, and it's all good, but they won me over with this one.
